You can change the proect's logo from https://edge.launchpad.net/gsolaar/+branding

I provided image to the "branding" page you gave me, but they still do not display.
Do they need to be moderated ?

I don't think there's a moderation queue anywhere for branding.

There are three images on the +branding page: Icon, Logo, and
Brand. The last of those, Brand, is the one that's displayed. Did you
provide an image "of exactly 192x192 pixels ... no bigger than 100kb
in size"?

I should have said: ...is the one that's display *on your project's home page*.

I provided the logo and the brand images with respectively 64 and 192 pixel squared png images. Should it be in another format ?

I worked when I changed several times the radio button to provide my own files. I think there is really a bug on this feature.

Yes, you're right, there is a bug there:

When uploading branding images, "Change to" option should be
  selected.

Sorry about the confusion, but at least you've managed to get it
working in the end.

Gavin.
