Create project group

I have a project "raclette" that I'd like to be made into a super-project / project group as there are multiple raclette sub-projects that will fit under the group project each with their own releases etc..

I've read the FAQ doc #210 on super projects and this seems to be the best approach.

As the raclette project already exists I'm happy for this to be moved to raclette.gbs or deleted so that the project group raclette can be created.

Projects can't be converted into project groups - you'd have to setup a new project group. In any case, I've assigned this question to kiko as he handles project group requests.

@Tom - yep that's fine I understand - I'm happy for the current project to be renamed or deleted in order for the project group to be created.

@kiko if you need any further information let me know.

Stuart -- are you saying it should be renamed because it should be deleted, or that it should be renamed because that's the definitive name for it?

@kiko - if the "project" raclette needs to be deleted to allow the creation of a project group that's fine. Alternatively if the "project" raclette can be renamed to "raclette.gbs" then that's fine too as that would be the name of the first project that I want under the project group "raclette".

You can set up the connection between the latter and the former in the +edit page; just change the "part of" field to point to raclette. If you need any other help just ask me and I'll be sure to sort it out. Thanks!
