valid password not always recognised

launchpad was not recognising my password. I asked the login details to be emailed to me (password reset) and when I followed the hyperlink from that email I got a server error.

I then tried to login again. After 3 attempts with the same password it finally let me in.

a fix for that bug was recently committed, and I don't have any
problems logging in today so I think it might have been #6429 I was
tripping over. Kudos to the bug squashing team for getting this done
so quickly. :)
