Bug spam/impersonation alert

Asked by Jonathan Thomas on 2009-05-27

It seems that over at bug 380738 a certain user, https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/~ethan-anderson, is causing grief for the Ubuntu bug tracker by posting a silly bug and at the same time impersonating another user by sharing the user name. (The one being impersonated: https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/~ethana2)

The fake, ethan-anderson, should be banned.

Ok, he's gone. :)

Or not, he only deactivated himself.

The account has been deactivated and reactivated a couple of times - it's currently ~ethan-anderson-deactivatedaccount. Please suspend it, and preferably unsubscribe everybody from that bug.

The users account has been suspended.

Cheers!
