Requesting PPA increase in capacity

Asked by Roderick B. Greening

Hi,

We have recently setup a new PPA structure for the Kubuntu developers. As this is a new structure, it has of course defaulted back to the 1.0 GB PPA limit. In order for the ~kubuntu-ppa team to be able to package KDE, we will require an increase in size to each of the PPA's under ~kubuntu-ppa.

I estimate, based on past experience, that this will require the limit to be raised to 5GB for each of the following PPA's created under ~kubuntu-ppa:

[PPA Archive] Kubuntu Backports - https://edge.launchpad.net/~kubuntu-ppa/+archive/backports
[PPA Archive] Kubuntu Experimental - https://edge.launchpad.net/~kubuntu-ppa/+archive/experimental
[PPA Archive] Kubuntu Updates - https://edge.launchpad.net/~kubuntu-ppa/+archive/ppa

Also, we are in the process of uploading KDE 4.3 Beta1 to the PPA. We have uploaded just a few packages, and are already at ~500Meg.

Regards,

Rod.

Could you bump all 3 up to 10 GB please? Turns out 5 isn't enough.
