Change the osf project into a project group

We have agreed to allow the OSF group (not the famous Open Software Foundation) to have a project group. The https://launchpad.net/osf project should be changed to a super project. The owner should ~opensoftwarefoundation-deactivatedaccount. And that team should be renamed to ~opensoftwarefoundation.

Hello,

We need this finalized quickly so we can get things rolling. We cannot affrod further delays in creating this Super Project group. Can this be done today?

I've renamed ~opensoftwarefoundation-deactivatedaccount to ~opensoftwarefoundation. Unfortunately we can't change a project to a project group - we'd need to create a new project group. This is typically something Kiko takes care of, so I'm assigning the question to him.

Okay, if you have to delete the current ~opensoftwarefoundation project to re-create it as a project group you can do that since we don't yet have anything in there. But I will add that the time in between should be minimal to help us transition quickly. I will appreciate if you can please email me Kiko's email address so I can follow up with him.

No need to email me, though you were pretty unlucky filing this request on a pretty busy week -- I'm stuck between events and countries this week. Anyway, here's a project group for you:

  https://edge.launchpad.net/osf

the original project registered there is renamed to:

  https://edge.launchpad.net/osf-old

Both are now assigned to you and you are free to go ahead and modify them as necessary. Once you've decided what you want to transform osf-old into, just let me know and I'll rename it again (or disable it, if there isn't another project to register). Thanks!

Thanks a lot Christian. You can delete all other groups. I renamed the old ~opensoftwarefoundation to osf2; https://launchpad.net/~osf2. And the new osf you created (https://edge.launchpad.net/osf) was renamed to opensoftwarefoundation; https://edge.launchpad.net/opensoftwarefoundation. So now you can delete osf2 and osf-old and we will continue with https://edge.launchpad.net/opensoftwarefoundation

Also delete every member team and projects that were created and added under the above accounts.
