How do I see the status of a ticket inside the ticket?

Asked by Joey Stanford on 2007-05-23

When I view the list of tickets I can see their status (open, answered, solved, etc.) but when I actually display a ticket, I do not see the ticket's status. Where is it or is this a bug?

In the Launchpad Answers question grey box in the left hand side

ah ... there it is "Status: Answered". I don't think that's visible enough. It's contained in a closed drop down box and is all grey. I think it should be visible in the header.

e.g. Answered Question #7093, asked 2 minutes ago by Joey Stanford <ANSWERED>

There's no workflow indication. How does a ticket go from Opened -> Answered -> Solved? :-)

Please open a bug about that issue.

You can see the worklow history by looking at the 'History' page.

hmm, ok, so I accept your answer to go somehwere else to solve my problem but there is no button for that in this ticket. :-)

The history page is available under 'History' in the Actions portlet.

You can create a bug report simply by using the 'Create bug report' item in the Actions portlet.

Hope this solves your problem!

The new status is so pretty now. Thank you. This is exactly the expected behavior I was looking for.
