I do not remember any action that would have enabled a new OAuth token

Asked by Coffeecat

Upon return from several weeks away during which I did not have access to the email associated with my @ubuntu.com alias, I found an email to me dated 9 Jan 2024 informing me that "A new OAuth token consumer was enabled in Launchpad," for my coffeecat account. The email says that if I did not make this change, to please open a new Question on Launchpad. Hence this question.

I vaguely remember logging into launchpad when I was away in pursuit of information relevant to my activity as an ubuntuforums staff member, but I cannot remember the details. If this triggered the enabling of an OAuth token, then please excuse my forgetfulness. I raise this question only in case of a possible security breach.

Hi. Thanks. That provided the answer. One token:

Application name: Ask Ubuntu
Authorized, 2024-01-09, to read non-private data

I half-remember now. I was investigating something around a forum member whose activity might have become disruptive, and one lead took me to Askubuntu. That lead was fairly fruitless, but I guess it explains the OAuth token.
