Merge my inaccessible old account into current one

Asked by cth451

I have returned to launchpad after a few years of inactivity and found myself locked out of my old account. I have switched email since ~8 years back and no longer have access to the email address I originally registered with. My old account is at https://launchpad.net/~cth451

The only trace on that account was I was part of the team `WeCase` (a Qt-based client for a chinese twitter clone) - which I have worked on as https://github.com/cthbleachbit on GitHub and also part of that org under the same name on GH (https://github.com/WeCase/WeCase).

I'll try to find more trace that I can use to prove my identity.

Hi, we can do the account merge only if we can verify that you indeed own both accounts. We typically make use of GPG/SSH keys on file for the accounts to do this. But I do not see either on the old account. So we cannot process this request to merge the two accounts into the new one.

Can you help with this problem?
