ppa:kubuntu-ppa/staging-kdeapplications short on space

Asked by Jose Manuel Santamaria Lema

Hi,

we were currently building the last release of KDE apps (23.08.4) in this PPA
https://launchpad.net/~kubuntu-ppa/+archive/ubuntu/staging-kdeapplications/+packages

At the moment, we are running short on space; before the apps 23.08.4 we had the 23.08.3 packages in there, apparently they are still there taking some space; for example, for ark, we still have 23.08.3 files in there, see:
http://ppa.launchpadcontent.net/kubuntu-ppa/staging-kdeapplications/ubuntu/pool/main/a/ark/

I was expecting LP to clean up the old files, but that didn't happen yet as far as I can see.

Would be possible to clean up these old 23.08.3 files so we have some space again, or alternatively increase a bit the size of the PPA so we can finish building the packages?

Regards.

Hi, the job that garbage collects superseded versions runs once every 6 hours and it should remove the eligible files in its next run and free up space. To unblock your work, I have increased this PPA's quota to 48 GiB.

Thank you so much for that, and for the quick reply, if we ever met in person I owe you a beer or whatever you like to drink :)

Cheers :)
