Will deactivating my account on Launchpad affect my openid?

Hello.
I would like to know if deactivating my launchpad account will deprive me of a possibility to login on other sites using Ubuntu.one?
I do not really need a launchpad account , but I would like to still be able to login to Ubuntu forums and other projects.
Will it still be possible if I deactivate my account?

Deactivating your Launchpad account will leave your login.ubuntu.com account intact.
