Additional access to proprietary project

Is it possible to grant write/push permissions to a LP account which is not part of a proprietary project group owner?

For the purpose of automating some activities, the security team needs to allow a bot account write access to a specific proprietary repository owned by the team. But for obvious reasons, we dont want to add the bot account to the team since it will grant broader accesses than the ones needed.

The alternative option we are considering is to create another team, including the bot account and other accounts involved in the project, and make this new team the owner of the proprietary repository instead.
