Building livefs for riscv64

Asked by Heinrich Schuchardt

https://bugs.launchpad.net/~xypron/+livefs/ubuntu/lunar/test shows a build for riscv64 waiting.

Does that architecture have to be enabled?
On what level directory level is it enabled?

Indeed, the architecture has to be enabled and is only available on request.

I do not know how the current state (waiting build) could have happened. I will reach out to a colleague and clarify.

I am sorry, I do not understand your second question. Could you please rephrase it?

Do you actually need riscv64 to be enabled or were you just curious how to enable it?

Will https://bugs.launchpad.net/~xypron/+livefs/ubuntu/jammy/test have to be enabled separately?

Yes, I need riscv64 enabled. My job is RISC-V lead engineer.

Yes, I will reach out to my colleague with the necessary permissions to enable RISC-V builds.

I've turned off "Require virtualized builders" on that live filesystem so that it can use riscv64 builders, and cancelled the existing build that will never complete. If you request the build again then it should start.

Thank you Colin. I now can start a riscv64 job.
