Can we configure ppa:canonical-signing/ubuntu/advantage-2021v1-fips

Asked by Andy Whitcroft

Could we make the PPA[1] below private, give it a size boost to match its compatriot[2], and finally could we copy all assigned keys from its compatriot[2] to the new PPA[1]:

[1] https://launchpad.net/~canonical-signing/+archive/ubuntu/advantage-2021v1-fips
[2] https://launchpad.net/~canonical-signing/+archive/ubuntu/advantage-2021v1

This is needed because FIPS builds require a different signing PPA configuration which is best avoided for regular ESM builds.

Thanks.

Hey Andy,
I could make it private, and I could also increase the size, but I cannot access the second PPA, so you need to tell me which size you want (though maybe I could read the size via API).

I need to ask my team mate about copying keys, though.

The second PPA has authorized_size 2048000 (I think the intention is for this to be effectively unlimited).

Hi Andy,

I have increased the quota of the advantage-2021v1-fips PPA to match that of advantage-2021v1 PPA and made it private. I have also requested IS to copy over the signing keys - https://portal.admin.canonical.com/C156424/

The RT ticket indicates that this is now done.
