canonical-kernel-team/ubuntu/ppa size limit exceeded

Asked by Luke Nowakowski-Krijger

When uploading kernel source packages to be built in the ppa I got an email saying it was rejected and an explanation saying

Rejected:
PPA exceeded its size limit (527065.21 of 524288.00 MiB). Ask a question in https://answers.launchpad.net/soyuz/ if you need more space.

Not sure what the procedure is for clearing space or if thats a kernel team responsibility or not. Let me know if there are any steps that should be taken or who else should be contacted to help solve this.

Thanks!

I have applied our purge hammer to this PPA. It is unclear how recently this was performed previously but it should be applied in every SRU cycle.

But, as this takes 6 or so hours to actually make any difference could we get the limit bumped to say 768G on both of these so we avoid this in the furture:

Keep the chimney breast and install a free-standing fireplace, and a wood-burning stove, if you remove a wall to create an open-plan living area. This little open fireplace design gives you a stunning focal point that also heats the whole room. You need to hire an experienced contractor if you want to make structural changes.
