Translation download not working

Asked by Patrick Chevalley

It is not possible to download translation for a project.

After I click Download the confirmation page show:
"There are 4335 file requests on the export queue. The backlog is approximately 28 hours."

Even after waiting for days I still not receive the message with the download link.

This is a recent regression caused by a change I made to try to improve our resilience against network outages, which seems to have had this unexpected side-effect. Please could you use the "Create bug report" link on this question to convert it into a bug, and we'll deal with it early in the working week?

(FWIW, I checked the queue and your oldest request there is a little over eight hours old at the time of writing, not days. If you made a request days ago and haven't received anything then it must be some other kind of failure - but I looked back through logs as old as a week ago and didn't find any evidence of export failures before about 31 hours ago at the time of writing, so maybe this was exaggeration, or some kind of ordinary email delivery failure?)

Thank you for your response, I have created the bug report.

Yes I make a request yesterday after adding new text for the Skychart project, this is where I remark this high backlog and ask the question a few hours after not receiving the email.

The "days" refer to another request I make for the CCDciel project after I remark that new text where translated on November 16, I not remember the exact day I make the request but probably last weekend, November 19 or 20. I never receive the message for this one.
