Why is armhf build for telegram-desktop snap failing?

The armhf builds for telegram-desktop snap are failing. Here is the build log.

Does someone know why this is happening?

I opened an issue at GitHub, but the Telegram developers do not know why this issue is happening.

I assume the key message is

:: cc1: error: '-mfloat-abi=hard': selected architecture lacks an FPU

I guess that the build instructions have to be changed, such that this flag is not used for armhf builds.
