will setting a default track for snapcraft break launchpad build recipes?

I am looking into setting the default track for Snapcraft to 7.x but before I do so, I want to know if launchpad does anything in particular with tracks where this would break.

For most modern bases we install snapcraft from the stable/launchpad-buildd channel, which I think should work OK here, if I understand things correctly.

Have the fit-and-finish issues that some people have reported with using 7.x in Launchpad (e.g. lack of useful output by default) been fixed?

Just came back to mention that 7.1.3 https://github.com/snapcore/snapcraft/releases/tag/7.1.3 should fix the logging issue on LP
