I would like to report a project

Hello,

I would like to report OpenAstro.org Project, as they consistently promoting in their software the Romanian language as Romany, which is rude and racist, Romany language doesn't have anything to do with Romanian language.

Can someone do something against this kind of behavior?

Well, I quite agree that this is wrong, but it looks like a simple mistake: from what I can see, some translators in 2010-2013 or so uploaded Romanian translations to Launchpad as if they were Romany. Project maintainers typically rely on translation teams to get translations right, so it's not clear that they would have even noticed; I can't find any discussion with them about the error. (Have you attempted to discuss it with them?)

I'm not sure if there's any precedent for this, but we can probably figure out how to get the translations moved over to the correct language in Launchpad. Somebody would then need to correct things on the openastro.org side such as their website. Does that sound reasonable?

I already reported to mistake the project, I didn't acted professionally, as I specified what the error is and in the same time I accused them directly of being racist something I will not reproduce here and they have hidden it the reported bug, for which only security team/group can see it (I can see some 406 flames beside my bug and lock).

Maybe I should act differently, but was carried on by emotions.

Your proposal sound reasonable to me.
