Please merge the pkg-games-devel team into the pkg-games team

Asked by Emmet Hikory

Please merge the pkg-games-devel team into the pkg-games team. Both represent the Debian/Ubuntu Games team, but for purposes of improved bugmail management, we have established two different email addresses, and so cannot easily enable the pkg-games-devel team for manual merging (as this would register the incorrect address).

We would like the current ~pkg-games to remain the primary team.

Hmmm. Interesting.

pkg-games-devel isn't a team. It's a "person". I was wondering why the merge was OOPSing on me.

Emmet, where/how did you wnat to go from here?

Cheers!

To capture part of an IRC discussion on this:

<wgrant> One contact address, but multiple addresses in total.
<persia> We only want to receive email from LP at the <email address hidden> address. We want to have stuff done by the alioth address recognised as having been done by the team.
<persia> spm, Goes back to the concept that people upload stuff and teams don't, which doesn't quite map cleanly for team-maintained stuff (not that it usually matters, as few actual maintainers use LP).

aiui, basically want two email addresses to be recognised as belonging to *a* team. One used for receiving bug report emails etc.
The other recognised for work being done BY the team.

In any event, an attempt on staging to do the merge oopsed:

This is solved, though unsatisafactorially. Merging the teams will not achieve the goal because the merged teams email address is marked invalid. I cannot be used with the current address. This is know bug.
