@ubuntu.com email alias not created after 5 days
Hi,
Five days ago I've been made an (indirect) member of lp:~ubuntumembers, and I'm looking forward setting up my @ubuntu.com email alias. I'm aware of faq #71 [1], which says that the email forwarding registry gets updated every 48h, but way more time has passed now. Is the aliases update process running normally? Am I missing something I should do on my side to enable the alias?
The error message I get when trying to use the alias is:
550 5.1.1 <email address hidden>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in virtual alias table
Thanks!

Well, it now works. Either the upgrade was fixed or it runs weekly and not every 48h. I'm marking this question as solved.

Glad it's sorted now. For what it's worth, IS maintains the @ubuntu.com email syncing mechanism, so for future problems you'll need to check with them; Launchpad is just the data source for it, and we have no access to the rest of it.
