I noticed some conversation on our internal sysadmin channel about this too, and I'm a bit reluctant to try to do things in parallel and potentially step on their toes.

However, you seem to already have a Launchpad account https://launchpad.net/~laurie-barry-4 with the new address, so I think what you need to do is to merge the two accounts. This is something that it's best for you to do yourself. Could you try following https://help.launchpad.net/YourAccount/Merging to merge these two accounts? You can then set <email address hidden> as the preferred address after the merge is complete, and perhaps then remove <email address hidden>.

(Beware that you may need to do the address-juggling separately on both launchpad.net and login.launchpad.net, since that sort of thing is unfortunately not completely synced between the two systems. However, I'd still recommend you merge the accounts in Launchpad first.)

Thank you Colin, that worked.

A merge is queued and is expected to complete in a few minutes.
The accounts are being merged. This can take up to an hour to complete, after which everything that belonged to the duplicated account will belong to your own account.
