I've done this (https://translations.launchpad.net/+languages/zgh), but there are quite a lot of other steps involved in adding a new language. https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Translations/KnowledgeBase/AddingNewLanguage should help you with at least some of these.

Also, it would be helpful to know plural form information for your language so that it can be correctly translated. See https://www.gnu.org/software/gettext/manual/html_node/Plural-forms.html for technical details of what this means. Feel free to either reopen this question or ask a new one once you have that information.

hi,
for the plural form of Standard moroccan tamazight it's the same as Berber and kabyle:
https://translations.launchpad.net/+languages/ber

standard moroccan Tamazight has 2 plural forms:

singular for 1.

plural n>1 and n=0

For example to say :
To say "send a file" we translate this :
"ⴰⵣⵏ ⵢⴰⵏ ⵓⴼⴰⵢⵍⵓ" ="azen yan ufaylu"(yan means one and file is in the singular form)

To say give me your 2 hands, we translate this :
"ⴰⵣⵏ ⵙⵉⵏ ⵉⴼⵓⵢⵍⴰ" ="azen sin ifuyla" (sin means two and the form of file here is in plural form)

We have a lot of irregular plurals. It means that the words don't keep the same form but we add numbers before the plural.

The plural in Standard Moroccan Tamazight language is when you find more then 1 object or 1 person etc.

Thank you
