Translation activity login & count of translations in error.

Asked by Bernard Stafford on 2020-07-14
I log in each and every day the entire month on June and July up to today. I translate Afrikaans Language for Launchpad and Ubuntu. The server is not accurate for logins and not accounting for all of the translations being accomplished. I spend approximately 4 - 8 Hours each day on this server translating Language. Could some one look into why the server is not counting.
It is most unpleasant to see your karma score go from 100,000 to 999,000 after translating for 8 long hours. Being docked for translating language. It does not show most of the days that I have logged into the server, no accountability.

Hi Bernard

Hi the karma bot doesn't run straight away, to check your activity have a look at: and it is not a time-related calculation, to learn more about how karma is calculated:

Proper accountability of the actual translations is my concern which it is not recording all of those.

This also explains why repeated times I had to re-translate hundreds of translations over the following day.
These occurrences have been going on for about 5 months.

Hi Bernard

Thank you for your question.
If you please have a look at the link I sent in previous answer ( you will see there is proper accountability of each translation you did, when it happened and all the strings it contained. Click on any of the translations in the list (i.e. the first 2: and ) you will be able to see all the information I just mentioned.

Repeating the initial web address of my post did not solve anything. You did not look into the server activity.
Next time it happens I will further document which translations were not recorded that I usually have to re-translate over
again. Thin I will file a bug report on them. Thank You for your correspondence & efforts
