I can use the launchpad API to extract read data, auth error every time even in anonymous mode

How can I use the API to read data in python 3.8? I am having difficulties authenticating. Also, I don't have the documentation on how to set up my system with python 3.8, from Mac os x.

Hello,
I want to use the API to extract information on developers and related activities on different projects. However, after setting up my credentials, I am unable to login to Launchpad, when the API call opens a browser even though my credentials are correct because login normally without the API call.

I am using a python script to make the API call.

Could you tell us more about what the script is please?

Can you tell us exactly what happens when you are "unable to login" please?
