How do I report malware being hosted on Launchpad?

Asked by Dave Havlicek

I have found a piece of software hosted on Launchpad that deletes important system folders. When a bug was reported to the maintainer, he claimed that he has no intention to fix it, and that this is done "at the user's risk," even though it is a key feature of the software. What is the proper channel to get this PPA removed from Launchpad, so that users are not under the impression that this software has been vetted as safe?

This would be the proper channel, although we'll need to look at things on a case-by-case basis.

Ok, please check here: https://launchpad.net/~oguzhaninan/+archive/ubuntu/stacer

On the GitHub page, https://github.com/oguzhaninan/Stacer, there are multiple issues describing the bug that have been closed by the maintainer, despite explaining that the bug has rendered their systems partially or wholly unusable:

https://github.com/oguzhaninan/Stacer/issues/20
https://github.com/oguzhaninan/Stacer/issues/193
https://github.com/oguzhaninan/Stacer/issues/198
https://github.com/oguzhaninan/Stacer/issues/201
https://github.com/oguzhaninan/Stacer/issues/363

Thanks.
