Project Group request: qalculate

Greetings,

Having recently inherited responsibility for the qalculate project from the previous maintainer, I've been giving thought to how best to structure it within the Launchpad framework considering that the upstream releases are organized in concert between two separate code repositories. My conclusion is that the existing Launchpad 'qalculate' project should be renamed 'qalculate-gtk' and the 'qalculate' project namespace should become a Project Group to encompass the 'qalculate-gtk' project and a 'libqalculate' project to be created once the above-described framework is in place. This will allow interested users of each to be directed to the respective repositories for their source code unambiguously while reinforcing their relationship as a dual-nature project with unified releases made by a single upstream project driver.

As suggested on the relevant Launchpad documentation page, the following are the requested details for the proposed project group...

Name: Qalculate!

Launchpad ID: qalculate

Summary: A multi-purpose, cross-platform desktop calculator with customizable functions, units, arbitrary precision, symbolic calculations and much more, organized into a shared library, CLI and GUI.

Description: The Qalculate! project develops a multi-purpose, desktop calculator application and its associated comprehensive library of functions. Designed to be simple to use but providing power and versatility normally reserved for complicated mathematical tools, it provides solutions for everyday needs such as currency conversion and percent calculation. Features include a unit calculations and conversion, physical constants, symbolic calculations (including integrals and equations), arbitrary precision, uncertainty propagation, interval arithmetic and plotting, all through user-friendly interfaces (GTK+ GUI and CLI).

The group project should be owned by the Qalculate! Maintainers group using the ~qalculate namespace.

I'm sorry to be a bother, but I'm now settling back into my open-source workflow after the chaos of the shelter-in-place orders, and I'd like to finish getting these projects configured as described above, if it's not too much trouble.

Hi,

Sorry for the delay in this.
I've moved the project to qalculate-gtk, and created a new project group in the 'qalculate' namespace (https://launchpad.net/qalculate) with the configuration you've described.
You should now be able to add the qalculate-gtk project to the group. I can't do that for you as I'm not a member of the owner group :)

Missed the instructions!
To add the project to the group, go to the https://launchpad.net/qalculate-gtk/ page, used 'Change details' on the right, then change the 'Member of' value, about half way down the page.
