Deleting "deleted" package from disk

Asked by chantra

Hi,

I have some packages on my PPA: https://launchpad.net/~chantra/+archive/ppa that have been deleted, but still, all links (.dsc, .diff.gz, .deb ...) are accessible.
I checked on the PPA help page, and as far as I can see, these packages should have been deleted from disk by now.

Anyway someone actually remove those "deleted" package from disk? or did I do something wrong?

Thks a mil,
chantra

It takes a day or so for deleted packages to actually be deleted from disk.

I had a quick poke around, and couldn't see any files that should have been deleted, so I think there is no actual problem here?

Hi Michael,
Thanks for your reply.

An example of package that I deleted is:
https://edge.launchpad.net/~chantra/+archive/ppa/+sourcepub/561221/+listing-archive-extra

But still, .dsc, .diff.gz, .orig.tar.gz and .debs are still on disk as they are downloadable.

However, it is reporting as:
# Removed from disk on 2009-04-09.
# Removal requested on 2009-04-09.

Any idea?

The files are deleted from the repository as you can see here:
http://ppa.launchpad.net/chantra/ppa/ubuntu/pool/main/j/jabberd2-muc/

The links on the PPA page are to the copies in the librarian. These don't count to your quota and will get deleted eventually.
