Project "Eoan Backports" missing

According to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuBackports requesting a backport is done by creating a bug report against the related backports project.

As far as I can see on https://launchpad.net/ubp a project "Eoan backports" does not exist.
How should somebody request backporting a package from focal to eoan, if that project is missing?

Or has backporting been abandoned?

This isn't something we can answer, sorry - it's a backports team process question. You might be better off asking on <email address hidden> and/or <email address hidden>.

Eoan is EOL, closing the question being obsolete.
An furthermore the eoan-backports project has been created on 2020-10-23
