Is it possible to configure launchpad not to send notifications about my own actions?

Asked by TomasHnyk

As I say in the summary, I would like to get e-mails only on things some other things done in threads I am signed to. Seriously, I know when I do some action on Launchpad, so I do no need to receive a mail about it. I understand that it can be useful for some people as reference.
IS this possible wit Launchpad? If not, I will fill a bug.

I'm not sure I understand your request. Are you talking about bug notifications? If so, there is a bug filed on this already (I can look it up if you like). You can also use a filtering system like Thunderbird and Evolution offer (and procmail is an alternative). Here's some information about filtering using a header we include in every message sent:

I agree that it's quite unnecessary for me to be emailed in thirty seconds telling me what I've just written here. I check the box to receive email about "*future* discussion about this question"

I totally agree. It's annoying to receive everything I write altough I know I've written it 30 seconds ago. (I'll get this message I'm writing right now, too) I'd like to be able to switch it off.

@Christian Reis: Where's that bug? I couldn't find it and i'd like to support it.
