How is NBS/decrufting currently handled in Soyuz?

How is NBS (Not Built from Source anymore) and decrufting in general handled in Soyuz? Manual action? Whenever one has time or are there some sort-of fixed times during the release cycle to clean up superfluous binaries, possibly breaking others?

Sorry for the late answer. Yes, NBS is handled as a manual procedure whenever someone has time for it. It's a script that operates only on the repository metadata and spits a list of NBS for evaluation and subsequent removal.
