SSH Key for new PC

Along the lines of this question: https://answers.launchpad.net/launchpad/+question/55392, but slightly different.

I created SSH keys on a previous PC. Now I have a new PC and the files from the old PC are gone - in particular the private key. What do I do? Can I just create new keys and that's it?

If you no longer have access to the private key then, yes just create new keys.
