Why is the text underlayed grey when i'm writing it into fields now?

The new input text fields are greyed out now? Is this correct and does Launchpad got an update? or has this something to do with my browser which got an update recently?. Browser's: Opera (updated today to 56.0.3051.31

We haven't changed anything in Launchpad that would cause this. Check with your browser vendor.
