Buttons in Firefox are not responding

I am running Linux Mint 18.3 kde on my Asus Vivobook laptop and when using the Firefox browser, none of the menu buttons such as settings, bookmarks, etc. work when pressed. They are just completely non-responsive. Upon doing some reading I discovered that it may be caused by Mesa. I did some searching around and Mesa is maintained by Ubuntu. Any chance somebody can help me solve this issue? Thanks

You don't need to file both a bug and a question about the same thing. I've reassigned your bug to somewhere closer to the right place (filing against the "launchpad" project is only for problems with the launchpad.net site itself).
