Unable to submit bugs due to server error

Hi,

I'm unable to submit bug reports on Launchpad at the moment without triggering an server error. I've been experiencing this error for over a week across multiple computers and browsers. The bug report itself is nothing uncommon - just a textual subject and description, no attachments, funky encodings etc.

lldpd isn't a "promulgated charm" (I think the term is), and it thus isn't possible to file bugs against it in Launchpad. It's unfortunate that (a) the charm store links to Launchpad for filing the bug, and (b) that it OOPSes rather than giving you a useful error message, but there it is ...

I'm not sure what the best way to file a bug in this case would be. It may be best to simply email the maintainer directly.

Thank you for the explanation Colin, that explains why I was unable to file the bug. It would be great to have a more helpful error but understandable that currently it just returns an OOPS error.

I'll get in contact with the maintainer directly to report the bug. Thanks again.
