I don't seem to be able to see that project myself. Are you sure you got the name right, or is it possible that it's private (in which case I'll have to ask a member of staff with some more privileges)?

Also, I'm not quite sure I understand your reasoning (though of course any project owner can request that their project be removed from Launchpad at will). Launchpad has been open-source since 2009; there's a link with details pinned to the bottom of the list of blog posts on the front page.
