I dont know the username or email associated with the duplicate account

I started a LaunchPad/ LearningCurve account at the beginning of the semester with a free trial. After the 3 week trial was up, I had to buy the full access which created another account and deleted my first 3 weeks of progress. I have tried to merge the accounts but it doesn't seem to work and i also don't want to delete the wrong account.

You've got the wrong Launchpad. This is the support system for the Launchpad.net software development website. It sounds like you might be talking about http://www.macmillanhighered.com/launchpad, in which case you'll need to find support resources on that site.
