This isn't really a Launchpad problem, but an Ubuntu problem. Launchpad developers really can't help you with this question. I'd suggest that a more productive use of time would be to find the associated bug report in Ubuntu (or create one if there isn't one already) and comment on that.

thanks for everybody's time regarding no bluetooth functionality in intrepid.
I seeked help from launchpad as a last resort.
We are all assisting and trying to promote Linux/Ubuntu and the like to prove our dissatisfaction with Windows and their money first take it or leave it approach.I have read how many times not to be 'pushy'as everybody involved in the various projects are doing it for free, and much appreciated so!however I am one of the best salesmen of Ubuntu in South Africa and I'm doing that for free as well, not to mention the thousands of 'test pilots' out there.I need to explain to quite a few people how an elderly distribution can handle bluetooth and the top of the range intrepid can not, even months and uncountable correspondence afterwards.
For practical purposes let us call this problem 'solved' and thanks again for all your efforts.
