Please block them as well.

I would like to suggest to add a "report this content" feature to Launchpad that allows flagging spam messages and their creators, such that they can easily be identified for blockage / removal.

As far as I can see all the hundreds of spam messages have already removed.
Closing this question and saying "thank you" to the person(s) who did this clean-up.
