How do I set a codename on a release?

Asked by Alex Harrington

Heya

We released a new version of Xibo Digital Signage last night (https://launchpad.net/xibo/1.0) but can't figure out how to set a codename since the changes earlier in the week. It used to be on the release registration form, but Dan who did the release says it wasn't there.

How do I set it?

Cheers

Alex

Hello Alex,

the release has a release date and files. All the "interesting" bits of metadata are on the milestone i.e. you should edit the milestone. That has the code name.

Thanks. I've been in to the 1.0.0 milestone for that release, but I still don't see anywhere to edit the codename in the edit dialogue:
https://launchpad.net/xibo/+milestone/1.0.0/+edit

If you look at the 1.0 series of releases, they all have the correct codename except the latest one:
https://launchpad.net/xibo/1.0

Cheers

Alex

I've created a bug for this as it appears to be a user interface regression.
