How to Free Space in Repository

Asked by Kevin Kreiser

I know there are a bunch of questions here about freeing up space in repositories and it taking time. I've recently deleted quite a bunch of binary packages from

https://launchpad.net/~valhalla-core/+archive/ubuntu/valhalla/+packages

The repository itself says it has 156 binary packages which might make sense depending on what it counts as a package.. At any rate the free space indicator still says we're basically out of space. I was wondering if I need to just keep waiting or if pushing another package will work and its just the indicator thats wrong.

Thanks!

There's a cron job that actually deletes the packages, which I believe runs every six hours; so you should wait at least that long before being concerned.
