Releases not appearing on launchpad

Asked by Stuart Colville

In the series details for my project tweetpy https://launchpad.net/tweetypy I have defined the following pattern for the release:

http://muffinresearch.co.uk/code/releases/tweetyPy/tweetyPy-0.3.*.tar.gz

Under the input for this is the following info: "A URL pattern that matches releases that are part of this series. Launchpad automatically scans this site to import new releases. Example: http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/emacs/emacs-21.*.tar.gz"

Where are these releases available from because since doing this I can't see this available on launchpad anywhere?

Hi Stuart,

The batch job that scans for product releases relies on being able to get directory listings. Since http://muffinresearch.co.uk/code/releases/tweetyPy/ gives a forbidden error page, it doesn't know what files exist (let alone which ones match the pattern you entered).

If you can reconfigure your web server to show directory listings there, things should start working on the next scan.
