How to search closed bugs raised by others?

It is possible to view user's own closed bugs (https://answers.launchpad.net/launchpad/+faq/1280), but how about other users'?
It is convenient to search a bug which appeared in an old version and was already fixed in a newer one.

Just use "Advanced search" on the bug page and select the status codes that you are interested in ("Fix Released" is unselected by default) as described in the last paragraph of faq 1280
