I have been testing Moz browser for Windows

Asked by Ron McCumber

I have been testing Nightly, Beta and Developer for Windows. My Firefox ID is <email address hidden>. I have been a Windows 10 Insider for over 2 1/2 years set to fast. I have been a Microsoft customer for around 25 years. I would love to tell when I became a Firefox-Mozilla user, I know the first time I downloaded one of your browsers I was hooked. I may be a Windows 10 Insider but on my desktop, you will find Beta, Developer, Nightly, Waterfox and one Cyberfox Intel x 86. My default is always one of the first 3 listed. I have been wanting to get into a Lumix O/S when I was looking through I saw Mozilla pop up and jumped at it. I have Microsofts Visual Studios on my computer. I have also spoken with some people at Get Hub. I am really a bug hunter I like diagnostics, repair or at very least give good Feedback. I also love browsers.
I am not looking to get rich, just to make the internet a better place. I took an early retirement from accounting and hold a B.S.B.a.A.Well politically I agree with Mozilla . Yesterday I was trying just to find out what O/S that Firefox-Mozilla use, but you are little hard to get ahold of. Although my education is not in computer science you are bound to pick up a lot just being on the web for 25 years. When I started with Microsoft it wasn't Windows, it was D.O.S.I have learned a lot in the last 2 1/2 years i have learned a lot According to Microsoft I had the biggest crash ever recorded on 10. It took me about two weeks to get back on 10, HP sent me the disks to get 8.1 right and I had a lot of damage to fix even then. I have never seen anything like it, I ask the team of Microsoft engineers if I had any thing to do with it and they said not that they knew of, that they were still studing it

A few things have been going on that you be unaware of. One thing is my Lumia 950 bit the dust. It keep saying that the sim card was causing the problem (the thing I found odd at the time was everything was on the device and nothing was showing up on the SD. I had purchased it at the at&t store so I took it there and they replaced the SIM card. That didn't do a thing so they said the phone was the problem & I would have to take it to Microsoft. So back in the car & 25 miles latter I am at the Microsoft store. The sales people are normally nice, I felt like I had called support, the guy was a pain. You can't tell me that there isn't a M/S store in the US that doesn't have a 950 Lumia setting around, but no I could let them send it to a third party vendor to fix it. It would only take 4 to 8 weeks to get it back or I could take a store, I said yes to that thinking I could use it at any store, oh no just at that one & one other one in Columbus, Ohio. This through me for a loop as I wasn't prepared to come up with a lot of cash for a new phone, I believe I mentioned before that last month I threw myself under a bus to protect M/S & Win10 at a cost in software of 179.99. I gave my wife my 650 Lumia, but I did have a 640 which at&t was sure Cricket would release, it was at least a year and a half old, they said I didn't use it for 6 mo. Well for one thing I wanted AT&T because I still had almost a month with them, not mention I don't like Cricket and with $330.00 credit at the M/S store I felt like a bag lady, plus they had 3 $50.00 AT&T to go cards which I bought & $135.00 in M/S Gift cards which I just used to buy Pro for 10 which has encryption and some other security stuff.
I also bought a ZTE android phone for $110.00 which I can't get set up because Goggle is screwing with me. They somehow have an e-mail of mine that I wrote to Ghostly after they ask me to test their product on a browser, at first I said sure, then they told me it was Google Chrome. I told them no way, when I used Ghostly 75% of the people tracking me was Google. That would about like DUCK DUCK GO doing it & I know how they feel about privacy & they wouldn't do it. So I will most likely wait till the end of the mo. & buy an I Phone.
That has kept me on the run most of the week. You may not have notice I have Nightly going I believe going about as fast as it will go without using code. I put a few different apps on it & tuned it to as fast as it will go. I am running with 16 GB i7 intel around 850GB at 72Mbps. I am thing about running a SATA HD if people will stop stealing my money All I can say is I don't know of any browser out there that can out run my Nightly. When a new build comes in I run the Edge as my default for a day then switch back to Nightly. I have downloaded Ubuntu, SUSE Linux Enterprise sever 12, Open SUSE Leap 42, also 2buntu.com & the Linux Cheat sheet. Yes I am an Insider for Win 10 & Office 365, but I am know an Insider for SDK & WDK. I am asking for training in open sores for Linux ( guess what I have in mind). I am also taking a course in debugging called Python.
The question & answer list I did forget about. I will go back & get the web page and get on it. I have in no way turned my back on Mozilla, I had lunch today with a group of about 10 people today including my grad daughter who just graduated with a degree in computer science & I went on about how we need to support you or big brother will be steeping in. That you believe in privacy & security on the web & that only a none profit organization can do it without being controlled. I about got kicked off of Twitter because GetHub was using my username so much they called gang posting and changed it to ron_mccumber not that I care but I could have been a little more settle about it. But there are plenty of business groups out there that would work for me being tied in with office and being a former account, oh heck once an account always one.
I got more enjoyment out of testing your browsers then I have had in years. I even watched that U-Tub piece on you I know you came out of another company Netscape. Microsoft bit off their nose to spite their face on that one. I used to pay for browsers also.
If there is anything you would like me to do please let me know I still want to be part of your mission.

You kidding me right? When Mozilla did a push ( I just was reading pushes were mainly used by crooks & hackers ) on my home page In front of God & Microsoft I knew I was in deep poo & immediately uninstalled every Firefox browser off my desktop. Then I stopped what I was doing through Visual Studios just to show Microsoft I was not working against them in any way. I did nothing wrong, I took no money, I didn't tell you people anything I knew about the Edge or Windows 10 but between, you ( I now guess) & Mozilla gave my enemies plenty of ammunition. What does Mozilla say Security & Privacy on the Internet and then they ask for donations. Mozilla in a few minutes damaged my reputation by making it sound like I was doing wrong, but my privacy took a bigger hit then it has in 25 years on the WEB I personally believe they have one of the biggest scams going on the Internet.
You know something I also hate is that I can no longer have anything to do with your browsers or anyone connected to them. Since the first time I used a Firefox browser I have loved it. I ask the guy that has Cyber Fox & he him hulled around about, if he was connected to them. I have been running Opera's lately. There nice but not as nice as my Firefox's where, but they are good browsers & seem like nice people. Even as an Insider for 3 yrs. I always had at least the FF Beta & the Developer on my desktop. In testing the Nightly I fell in love & picked up more speed just tweeting it a bit, then I ever thought possible.
I am flat out pissed, I tried to get ahold of Mozilla 2 or 3 weeks ago & they said they would send me a new password. I am still waiting on it. You can bet that everyone with in an ears shoot is hearing my story. You people probably never open one, but he Bible talks about wolves in sheep's clothing, I believe I ran into a pack of wolves. How do you sanctimonious people sleep at night talking about an unhealthy web & then take these people's money from them. I loved Firefox but I don't you. Another thing it says in that book I was talking about is you reap what you sow. I wish Mr. Gates would have been able to stop you in the beginning. I met him once in a chat room over 20 years & thought so much of him that I have stay with Microsoft for 20 some odd years, because he is a good man.
