private bugs generate email

Asked by Seth Arnold

Hello, I received an email when bug 1705602 was filed. The email said the bug was private. I was not able to view the bug through the web interface.

Steve Beattie took a look and thought we might have received it due to the apparmor tag: X-Launchpad-Subscription: apparmor tag

Could someone subscribe to e.g. apport-crash bugs this way and be emailed about crash bugs when they are filed without proper permissions?

The bug was originally filed as public, and only made private 10 minutes later. The original email should start with "Public bug reported:".

Okay, probably the behaviour is fine, but the email claimed to be for a private bug:

Date: Fri, 21 Jul 2017 01:55:22 -0000
From: [...] <email address hidden>
To: <email address hidden>
Subject: [Bug 1705602] [NEW] [...]

Private bug reported:

[....]
