Guadalinex: distroseries

Asked by Juanje Ojeda

We can't add series to the distro (Guadalinex).

If I try it:
https://edge.launchpad.net/guadalinex/+addseries

LP tells me that:

I'm the owner to the driver team for the distribution:
https://edge.launchpad.net/~guadalinex-drivers

Could you add at least the current serie or give us permissions to do it by ourself?

In case you need to do it by hand:
    Name: buho
    Display name: Buho
    Version: V6
Description: Guadalinex V6 (code name Buho) is a Guadalinex version based on Ubuntu Jaunty and customized for Andalusian citizens.

Thanks in advance.

Hmmm.
Was just ensuring I got the details right, and trialled on staging first. And generated 2 OOPS's in the process. :-(

1st was the version string of 'V6' - that failed. I suspect it only wants a number, eg '6'. Didn't capture the oops number on that.

2nd appears to be a timeout. (https://lp-oops.canonical.com/oops.py/?oopsid=OOPS-1178S61)

And things keep on OOPSing on me - on staging. Yikes.
I'll chase those with the Dev's over the next day before trying live in production. Let's not make things too broken here!

In the meantime, it might be worthwhile raising a bug on your inability to create the series in the first place. AIUI, you should be able to... so not sure what's up there. ???

Cheers!

Hey Juanje,

have just created that series for you.
Not sure if you can/not edit the details as entered, or want to. let me know if you do and can't :-) and I'll do so.

The query that timed out on staging, is only just outside the timeout; and worked fine/quickly in prod.

Cheers!
