How long does it take for changes in the translations to be reflected in the repo?

Asked by Rob Syme

Some fool had messed up some of the English (Australia) translations. I've just corrected the errors, but I'm wondering how long before those changes are reflected in the repository. Does anybody know how often the repository is updated?

Hi Rob,

I assume you are talking about Gnome-DO translations but I don't know exactly about what repository are you talking about?

Can you please give us more details about the source of the translations ( Launchpad link) and repository (APT URL).

Cheers,
Adi

Thanks Adi

I'm trying to work out the process by which translations here:
https://translations.edge.launchpad.net/do/trunk/+pots/gnomedo/en_AU/+translate

are reflected in the repository here:
http://ppa.launchpad.net/do-core/ppa/ubuntu

Probably a basic question, I'm trying to get a feel for the overarching systems in launchpad. My apologies if this is the wrong forum for the question.

Hi,

Right now the translations are not automaticaly imported into a bazaar branch or into a repository.

You will need to ask the Gnome-Do package maintainers to manualy export the translations from Rosetta and include them in the next version of the Gnome-Do package.
