how to delete a bookmark

I tried to delete some bookmarks by going to bookmarks>organize bookmarks but the delete sign is gray, not black and it won't let me delete. How do I get the delete black so it will let me delete?

I guess you are talking about firefox: the easiest way to delete a bookmark is by right-clicking on it with the mouse and click on "delete".
