Please import Ubuntu installer translations

Asked by Colin Watson

Could you please do a manual import of the files under http://people.ubuntu.com/~cjwatson/installer-po/ ? I've updated them for Jaunty now (belatedly), and would like to give translators a respectable amount of time to work.

Btw, I forgot, while you are still in rosetta-admins team, you should be able to upload a tarball using "Upload a file" link from a page like https://translations.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/jaunty/+source/debian-installer/+pots/debian-installer

I've uploaded the files, but we should definitely allow ubuntu packagers uploads there as well.

They've all been approved and should be imported shortly: https://translations.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/jaunty/+source/debian-installer/+imports

I remembered that I was in rosetta-admins just after I went to bed last night! Oops. Thanks for taking care of this anyway.

Colin: if you've got lp-translations-tools, curl, and lftp in your path, and set up lp-translations-tools to log into https://edge.launchpad.net/ (or regular https://launchpad.net/ if you're not a beta tester), you can use this to download the files into a subdirectory of the current directory and upload them to the package:

    https://pastebin.canonical.com/14996/

It takes the Ubuntu release you want to do this for as an argument.

Thanks, Jeroen. Now that I realise I have appropriate permissions, I'll be able to do that.
