Debian series need updating and data needs fixing

Asked by William Grant

Debian Lenny was renamed from testing to stable when it was released a couple of weeks ago. gina was meant to be running over Lenny and Sid, but apparently is instead running over testing and unstable. This means that Lenny in Launchpad contains packages which are actually only in Squeeze (the new testing) and Sid.

A quick fix is to rename Lenny to testing, but that doesn't seem like the right way to go about things.

Yes, renaming lenny isn't the right thing to do.

We have to create new series named 'Squeeze' and point the 'testing' import to it.

The Lenny history has to be cropped at Feb. 14th.

Let me arrange this with lp-admins.

All sorted now.

https://edge.launchpad.net/debian/

Lenny is stable and its history was cropped on Feb 14th and the 'syncs' from sid were transferred to Squeeze.

The caches will be regenerated tomorrow morning and Squeeze sources will be browseable and it's history will be complete.
